Today, after 14 years of endless effort towards student and school development, the school consists of over 1200 students of 25 different nationalities and a team of 150 highly dedicated, committed and professional staff members, that all work towards inspiring young minds to lead the future.
Our school vision is “Inspiring young minds to lead the future” and it is our duty to nurture young generations to promote their interests, develop their critical thinking, self-confidence and voice to make their difference in the world, in their chosen field.
Al Wisam School offers the British curriculum for the English taught subjects in addition to the Bahraini Ministry of Education Curriculum for the Arabic taught subjects. The school incorporates local culture in its curriculum through the wide range of extra-curricular activities and encourages the students to be internationally minded. However, what inspires our students are not our academic program; it is the relationship between our faculty and students and the bond they establish as they engage in learning.
Al Wisam School provides quality education in a safe, innovative and stimulating learning environment that enables all its students to reach their full potential academically and personally, by empowering them with the twenty first century and digital citizenship skills to be successful lifelong learners who are socially responsible global citizens; while ensuring the welfare and growth of its staff.

We prepare them to live and excel in a time different from ours all the while maintaining a growth mindset.

As an ex-employee, I would rate the school excellent. Dr Saba, the vice principal, supported me in every possible way, continuously thriving towards achieving better learning. I witnessed a lot of positive changes, be it introduction of different booklets, procuring lab equipment’s and materials, integrated activities and what not. Students are always listened to, supported and guided. I would always want to work again with AWS, if I get a chance to return to Bahrain.
