Established in 1991, The English Modern School is a private, proprietary international school and is one of the Divisions of The Al-Muftah Group of Companies. The school is licensed by the Supreme Education Council (SEC) under the Private Education Sector, is a member of The Council of International Schools (CIS), is an authorized centre for The Cambridge University International Exams and Edexcel International, and is a candidate for accreditation with both QNSA (Qatar National Standards of Accreditation) and NEASC (New England Association of Schools and Colleges).
At English Modern School Doha, we aim to provide a truly international education. English Modern School Doha has students from over fifty (50) countries. As an international school we celebrate our national roots, but we also transcend national boundaries. We adopt the Cambridge International curriculum from Year 1 through Year 12, culminating with IGCSE and A and AS levels. I was a student at this school, now I finished university and I'm in the work field. I never thought the way I was taught in school will reflect this positively on me in the far future. I have two children currently at English Modern School. One is in year 5 and has gone since kindergarten. My other child is currently in kindergarten. This is hands down the most wonderful school. There is strong parent involvement. The teachers, staff, and administrators go above and beyond to help each child excel. Everyone loves this school, and I am so glad that my children attend EMS.

I love the school it is the best I have been there for at least 2 and a half years I really miss my teachers friends they were the best thing ever when it was my birthday they all made me laugh and they made me a birthday card and it made me cry with joy I feel' like the happiest girl ever and there was love in the air and after some days I had to go to UAE Dubai I was sad to to leave but I had to go and I know I will never forget the past days and my friends,teachers and one thing is that I still have my library book to remind me that there is no place like English modern school and if there is any way I could come there I would
