Al-Rowad international school

Al-Rowad School is one of the leading Schools in Qatar. We are a branch of the famous schools in Saudi Arabia; Al-Rowad International Schools. We teach the American Curriculum and the Arabic Qatari Curriculum. We have a special care for learning Quran as well. Our school is a safe and fun environment for Learning and growing. We teach the American curriculum with an Islamic prospective. We teach Arabic subjects according to the curriculum in the state of Qatar.

Our Mission is to instill Qur'an in the hearts of our students in such a way that the Qur'an acts as the engine that drives all the aspects of their lives. Our Vision is to provide an Islamic, stimulating and advanced learning environment that successfully meets the challenges of our evolving world. Al-Rowad is a close-knit educational community that promotes the academic and social development of all students in a safe, friendly environment. Our 3 Bee rules are: Be Safe, Be Respectful, Be Responsible.

Our dedicated staff at Al-Rowad serves about 120 students in grades 1-5. In addition to the core curriculum, the school offers gifted and learning support services, reading support (including Reading Recovery), speech and language support, guidance, instructional support services, a new library , a new activity room and a new cafeteria. Al-Rowad International School students experience daily instruction in one of these specialty areas: art, physical education, library, and technology.

Although we focus on English litracy in all of our teaching,the cultural influence of Islam is demonstrated in all of our teaching. The four basic skills: Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing are focused upon regularity through the implementation of the syllabus. We care about our students. We are having PE twice a week for every class. Our activities are taking place indoors and outdoors. Currently we are preparing many sports events for our students.
