MA Top-Up Human Resource Management (CIPD)
The MA top-up Human Resource Management is specifically designed for Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) Level 7 graduates who are looking to complement their postgraduate qualification with a masters level degree. The Human Resource Management Top-up will build upon your existing qualification and top it up so that you obtain a qualification at Masters level by completing a 15,000 word masters.
Aims
This programme aims to provide students with the opportunity to top-up their CIPD Level 7 advanced qualification to a full master’s degree.
Modules
The second year of the programme involves completing the following units:
Teaching & assessment
You will develop your understanding of Professional Practice as a HR Professional and Research Methods through lectures and seminars. Once you are ready to start your dissertation you will be allocated a dissertation supervisor who will meet with you regularly to enable you to complete you dissertation. Initially, students will be taught the components on how to complete a dissertation such as research skills, analytical skills and report writing skills.
Interview Instructions
You will be required to complete a recognition of prior learning form to confirm eligibility for the top-up. You will have an interview with a representative of the College either by phone or in person.
Entry Criteria
You must have completed the CIPD Level 7 Diploma in HRM to be able to top-up to this qualification. Ideally, you will hold a Level 2 qualification in maths and English.
