This apprenticeship offers you the perfect opportunity to further develop your HR knowledge with practical experience in a real working environment. The qualification is designed to give you a broader perspective of the organisational issues facing HR professionals, and encourages the development of effective analytical and problem solving skills. This programme aims to help you to develop the knowledge and skills to progress your career in Human Resource Management. You will undertake various units which will enable you to achieve CIPD Associate membership at the end of the qualification. This programme will help you enhance your professional portolio.

  • Developing Professional Practice
  • Resource and Talent Planning
  • Contemporary HRM
  • Research Approach in HR.

Teaching & assessment

You will be able to arrange one-to-one tutorials with your lecturer if you feel you need additional support. You will be allocated a workplace assessor for the following units:

  • Contributing to Resource and Talent Planning
  • Contributing to Reward Management
  • Contribute to Employee Engagement
  • Contribute to Management of Change.

Your workplace assessor is able to provide coaching and mentoring and tutorial support - they will review your progress once every 8-10 weeks.

Interview Instructions

You will be invited to attend an interview where you will be provided with further information about the course. Your suitability to the course will be assessed at this stage. It is possible to organise a telephone interview if this is more suitable to your other commitments.

Entry Criteria

Ideally, you should have completed a CIPD foundation level qualification (Certificate in HR Practice or the Certificate in Personnel Practice). Alternatively, if you have studied at foundation degree or undergraduate level previously, or have experience as a HR professional at managerial level, this may be the correct entry point within the CIPD portfolio.
