Considered as France's first law university, University Panthéon-Assas is dedicated to upholding the tradition from which it arose, preserving, yet ever-striving to raise its level of excellence in the following disciplines: Private Law and Criminal Science, Public Law, Political Science, Roman Law, History of Law, Economics , Management, Information and Communication Sciences. Our extensive partnerships not only with major French, European, and International agencies, but also with major financial and industrial firms, ensure anchorage in the professional world and guarantee the veritable poly valence for which we are known.
At University Panthéon-Assas, we place high priority not only on the intellectual excellence and harmony of our students, but also on their personal and physical well-being. The university encourages, sponsors, and organizes a full array of pedagogical, professional, athletic and cultural activities from conferences and symposiums, debates and discussions, to moot courts and awards ceremonies, sporting events and celebrations...events follow, one after the other, as a kind of perpetual testimony to the richness of university life and the exchange that it encourages. What is more, by the sheer diversity, spirit, and vitality of the student associations within our walls, this reservoir of recreational initiatives is continually enriched and replenished.
With documentary resources specialized in law, economics and business administration, as well as in information and communication sciences, the libraries of Panthéon-Assas create, conjointly, an impressive and extensive information network the University Library (SCD) expanding over three centers (Assas, Vaugirard, and Melun) with collections especially dedicated to students from L1 to M1. 30 specialized libraries, belonging to research centers, institutes, and reading rooms contain resources destined principally for M2, doctoral students, and researchers. A collective database complete with online catalogues, publications, and periodicals, as well as databases for law, economics, business administration, and media, including examination annals, courses, theses, dissertations.

Brilliant teachers with a modern outlook on the world around us, a fantastic library and super local. Assas is a prestigious university in the deserved reputation, a true school of knowledge

The beautiful building hides a dusty and dilapidated house in its management and its habits. Teachers believe it relevant at all, especially outside their field of education but chuckle when non-teachers dare issue if only one opinion on their material.
Deeply kick in the anthill that will float a wind of modernity and youth in this institution that smells old.

The university is especially known for its law school but are taught more exotic disciplines such as training of private detectives.

Spent two years in this university.
The multimedia communications Master's degree was worth it for me.
The facilities were in the 13th district and were quite outdated however I believe we were the last year to be taught there.

This is the best university in Paris. Both academically and in terms of atmosphere. Panthéon Assas is well above HEC and Sciences Po Polytechnic. This is the university lawyers and senior economists, thinkers and future leaders of tomorrow.

Having had the chance to study (the Pantheon), it's a great college, filled with local history, good teachers and a breathtaking view. If you do not do your research, will at least take a look inside, the great hall worth it =)

A college very well located in the heart of Paris. The building of the rue d'Assas sorely lacking finish and work is protracted, the lecture halls of light and heating, however the attendance of this option remains substantial for both welcoming associations for quality education.
