The University of Salamanca is now 800 years old and with this inheritance received, we are all obliged to give it a new impetus to last at least another 800 years and that is achieved by continuing to do what it has done more research, innovate, hope , imagine and dream ... and open up again to the world as the famous School of Salamanca did with its Right of People. Now is a great time to take that leap forward.

My two daughters study there, 27 years after I did, and they are very integrated in the city, and happy with the University, there will always be things that can be improved, but the level of teaching is still good.

Wonderful architecture, good explanations (could sometimes be a bit more in detail), excellent audio guide, very interesting.

It's beautiful and very old, yes, but it's not exactly what I think of when I hear tourist attraction. It was a very brief sight to see, at it's exactly what you'd expect a university to be...just old. Not saying it was bad, it's just not something I'd recommended to a friend to spend their time on.

I was only here for a brief tour of the university and have not studied there. The architecture is exquisite and it is very interesting to see the old lecture theatres and defense halls. It is a stark contrast to a modern university but with a beauty that is hard to find these.

Very good and old university. The University of Salamanca enjoys prestige throughout Spain and is the oldest university in Spain. The exterior façade of the Major Schools of the University is wonderful. I spent a semester of exchange in the Faculty of Translation and Documentation. The teachers are very committed and competent and the city of Salamanca is cute.
