While the roots of Nipissing University extend back to the 1900's with the North Bay Normal School, Nipissing University College was formed in 1967 as an affiliate of Laurentian University. Nipissing University received its charter as an independent University in 1992. Amazing university experience. Wonderful students, staff and professors. I had an overwhelmingly positive university experience here and would recommend it to anyone. As for the nay sayers in the reviews, your experience is what you make of it, but you will never have more opportunities than at Nip U.

Extremely bad service from Academic Advisory. They took 14 days to reply one email and they never picked up the call even I left 4-5 voice mails on different dates. Because they took 14 days and didn't respond me on time even I requested them it cost me semester delay and I have to miss my course which offered once a year. Never recommend anyone to go Nipissing University through Academic Advisor. Except Academic Advisor I think their instructor are very good and helpful. I would love to continue with Nipissing University but never with this kind of service with Academic Advisor
