Thank you once again for doing your part to keep Edarabia the most trusted education source.
Beautiful campus with options for unique programs not offered at other universities. Campus is small. great coffee lounge on sight in The Study. Professors are very friendly and professional.

Lakehead University is "Exceptional Unconventional" in the sense that they don't do ANYTHING in the manner that it should be done.
Cheating is ignored at Lakehead, I have heard of many students being caught on exams and faced NO PUNISHMENT AT ALL!
One prof even told me that his Dean said to make sure to keep students here so the university can get the tuition money.
The university does not have enough resources or quality professors to run some of it programs, example Civil Engineering.
If you read this please listen and go to a different university where you can get an education you can be proud of.

Excellent university to study. I lived and studied at the main campus (Thunder Bay). Very easy to go around the small campus. The town is relatively quiet and small with very little distractions compared to larger metropolitan cities like Montreal and Toronto where I am more use to. Unfortunately, this town is in the middle of no where. Very isolated. Only a 3hrs good drive to Duluth (Minnesota) USA may enable you see another town since all nearby Canadian towns are further away (Winnipeg 8hrs drive).
Very good for anyone who want to study and obtain his/her academic achievements faster.

Spent some time on the campus over the past few summers. Excellent location and facilities. The university has made it a priority to engage and promote the needs and strengths of the First Nation communities in the Northwestern part of the province of Ontario. This goes a long way to opening the eyes and minds of those who attend Lakehead University.

This university is basically a legal mafia. They charge you for anything and everything, while not providing a quality education. Avoid this university at all costs they will screw you over!

I went to Lakehead University because it was in my hometown, but it was one of the best decisions I've made. I love that the campus is a perfect balance between city and nature, and that I can study while sitting on the edge of Lake Tamblyn. I chose to go into Engineering, which is an accredited program, and it was the best move for my career so far. All of my professors have been kind and helpful, and did not hesitate to answer any questions I had. I look forward to completing my degree at Lakehead!

I love it here. 3 years into my degree, and I have had some learning experiences that I doubt I would have gotten anywhere else. The class sizes are small enough that professors and students get to know each other. This is very advantageous if you are a student, as the practical research opportunities that you have here are incredible. I hope to update this review after I graduate, but right now, I am convinced that coming to Lakehead University was the best decision I could have made.
