At Bridgewater College in Virginia, my daughter has blossomed under the guidance of incredibly supportive staff, making leaps in her education that we couldn't have imagined!

I loved my experience at Bridgewater College. The small class sizes enabled a lot of one on one interaction from professors. I had no trouble finding a career in a competitive field (Interior Design) after graduation. The fact that everyone lived on campus built a close knit community, and created a wonderful learning and growing atmosphere. I firmly believe that a liberal arts education better prepares one for the "real world." I still remain close to many of my classmates 5+ years after graduation.

I love Bridgewater College and I am really proud to be a part of this small community. I can't speak for the other majors but I know that the psychology program here is above and beyond other programs in the state. There are more hands on lab work and the teachers teach through real life stories and concepts not just definitions. Plus, the teachers go above and beyond to help you in and out of class without lowering their academic standards. The social life here is a little different from other Universities because its a "dry campus" and everyone lives on campus. But where there is a will there is a way! This has never discouraged me from having a good time or anyone else I know ;) If you are looking for a fun academic atmosphere within a small and welcoming community... Bridgewater College is the place for you.

I love Bridgewater College. I do think it is a very small campus, but it works for someone who came from a really small high school and community. You make friends very quickly and the small class sizes allows you to really get to know your professors and succeed.

I'm a sophomore at bridgwater, and I absolutely love it. I transferred here and everyone is so much nicer and involved than at my previous college. Football is really big here a lot of the students come out for the games(we're also really good!) and everyone's really active in the different clubs, especially intramural sports and church/faith based clubs. There isn't much to do right in brigewater, except party, hangout and enjoy friends but there is harrisonburg about 10 minutes away and there's tons of things to do there. The classes are challenging but if you work hard, you'll get decent grades, and it's a true community :)

I loved my time at Bridgewater College:) I majored in History & Political Science, but just before my senior year changed my mind and minored in Social Work. Bridgewater College allowed me to work in a minor and focus on persuing that path, rather than bogging me down with pointless senior type classes. The faculty and staff there are great and many of them are available to the students on a personal bases, rather than being known by one's SS#.
