The Master of Arts in Interior Design Degree allows students to take their studies to a higher level, developing knowledge and skills relevant to the industry, an ideal career progression to management level. This course is studied online and is fully accredited by the British government.
Who is this course for?
This course is ideal for students who have previously studied or worked in the field of interior design and looking to progress in their career. It qualifies them to work at a management level and equips them with the entrepreneurial skills to open their own interior design practice. Alternatively, graduates can become highly qualified freelance interior designers working with specialist practices or channel their post-graduate knowledge into a career in teaching. It also provides also an ideal academic platform for those who wish to pursue the field of interior design to PhD level.

How will I be assessed?
- No exams! Your personal tutor will assess your assignments.
- The course is delivered through online study that is accessed through our bespoke Virtual Learning Studio (VLS).
- The VLS allows students to access all course materials, contact tutors and share ideas with other students through the online community.
Entry requirements:
Students must already have one of the following
- A good BA (Hons) Degree in interior design or equivalent plus a portfolio of evidence.
- An extensive portfolio of interior design experience
- Students must have a good level of written English and be able to read English easily. It is not necessary to have good spoken English. IELTS average 6.5 or TOEFL score of 550 is usually required; however all students are considered on an individual basis as we are aware that many international students have already been taught in English at school, college or university.
