With more than 20 years’ experience in Early Childhood Care & Education, we opened our first Children’s Oasis Nursery in Um Suqeem in September 2002. We believe in our children and we encourage them to believe in themselves. We want our children to flourish without fear of failure, to love and respect the people around them, to grow into confident, caring individuals. Children’s Oasis Nursery is an independent pre-school nursery located in the heart of Jumeirah for children aged 3 months to 4 years old. We are a boutique nursery that is independently owned and personally managed.
Our exciting, vibrant & multicultural nursery is set in a beautiful, warm, welcoming & homely villa with rooms designed for specific age groups and is filled with high-quality resources, equipment & hand-crafted toys. The school is set in a stunning oasis consisting of lush greenery and an adventure garden, where the children continue their learning through play and exploration. We have over 30 years of early years experience and we were the first nursery school to become ISO certified in the Middle East.
We believe that educating our children is the most valuable work on the planet. We know the early years are the most important in the formation and development of our children’s intelligence, personal behaviors, and social development. Our goal at Children’s Oasis is to give each child an opportunity to fulfill their individual potential by developing self-confidence to give them a flying start in education in a secure, loving & stimulating learning environment.
Each day brings about a new discovery. Learning is combined with laughter as our friendly team of staff gently guide the children towards their early learning goals. As well as being lots of fun, our structured approach to both learning and play ensures all round development and encourages children to reach their full potential.
Communication, control, and coordination are just some of the skills we will work on with your child. These are not only of tremendous importance during their early years but help to make the transition from nursery to Primary School a happy and rewarding experience too.
Our baby room is especially set up for children from 3 months onwards. Our dedicated staff ensure routines are followed for each individual child, as they would be at home. Tummy time, sensory play, opportunities to roll, crawl, and walk are all part of what is on hand for our babies. Natural sensory baskets, holistic bottles, and messy play are all ways to enhance and widen your baby’s awareness and senses, and we have a designated outdoor shaded green area connected to our baby room that is set up with outdoor activities including a ball pool, sand play and a swing.
From our baby room, children move into the toddler area or the ‘turning 2’s’ as they are better known. As we see each child as an individual, we ensure that the transition from baby room is smooth and comforting for the child, and some children often need more adjustment time than others.
Our turning 2’s classroom is full of fun exciting activities, which promote fun, but also incorporate vital life skills. It is so important during this age group that children are interacting and socialising with other children. Sensorial play is a huge aspect of the turning 2’s and covers many activities such as messy play, large floor painting and body painting plus much more.
Our pre-foundation or ‘turning 3’s’ classes are set up to further challenge the children and stimulate their growing minds. As learning through play is the key factor, children are challenged through their play to learn and grow. Towers will be build bigger, train tracks will be longer, paint brushes and mark making utensils become smaller – all to help stimulate the fine motor and gross motor developmental areas.
Confidence in talking, forming longer sentences, asking friends and teachers for help is all part of the language development. Name recognition at snack time, letter and sound recognition during register time, mark making and role play are all ways to broaden children’s knowledge of the world around them and encourage them to explore and learn in a fun way.
Pre-foundation classes ensure that our children move into Foundation Year 1 as happy and confident individuals, equipped to make the most of the next stage in their development.
At Children’s Oasis we strive to allow children to develop self-discipline and self-esteem in an environment where they are positively encouraged.
Boundaries are important for children. A child will be aware of what is expected from them (according to their age) and the people around them and will explore and develop in an environment where they feel safe and valued and respected.
Children go through many phases of development and within these, there will also be challenges where different behaviours will be expressed. All staff within Children’s Oasis Nursery are trained to understand, monitor and deal with various behaviours. Our priority is the safety and protection of each child who attends the nursery.
Our philosophy is simple. We believe that the early years of a young life are precious. We want our children to be happy, secure individuals who delight in their time with us. A young child’s enthusiasm and excitement for life is a joyous thing. We strive to make the most of this, channeling it into constructive activity and play. Within this nurturing atmosphere, children are encouraged to develop their personal and social skills, as well as increasing their mathematical, language and physical development.

Children’s Oasis is a wonderful, wonderful Nursery . I can't recommend it enough. Our daughter has been there over two years. I moved from England to Dubai and I was afraid that the school system could be underdeveloped vs UK. In Children’s Oasis I felt at home. Head teacher, teaching staff are all British and British qualified. In fact the qualification and preparation of the team is possibly even better than in a England. Susan, the head teacher, is second to none for preparation and commitment.

I have just moved to Dubai from Bali and my children got enrolled at Children’s Oasis. The children got adjusted right away. The teachers are exceptionally qualified, the environment is unmatchable in dubai and it is full of resources. We were concerned about the kids missing green and grass leaving Bali but the garden at this nursery is great
