When Mrs Shakuntala Mankani, JINS’ Founder, came to Dubai in 1964 as a young woman with her husband and a baby, she had no idea where life would take her. With her daughter, Veena, they started a dream endeavour, Jumeirah International Nurseries, in 1981 and now we are celebrating over 40 years of Dubai’s happiest nursery.

We started small with a big vision of delivering an outstanding education to thousands of children in Dubai.

Our core mission at Jumeirah International Nurseries has always been to help little learners to learn, and we were founded with a strong sense of purpose; that by developing a young child’s values, character, and overall wellbeing, both academic and non-academic success will follow.

Our passion for high quality, inspirational practice has established JINS as leaders of pedagogy, provision, and practice, and we specialise in “Giving your child a head start” in life.

As one of the region’s most trusted Nursery brands, we celebrate the great potential of young children and the importance of parent collaboration, along with the responsibility of service to our community.

At JINS, we lay the foundations for a lifelong love of learning by making every day at nursery a new adventure. We focus on the holistic development of our children and understand the importance of preparing them with the skills that will equip them as future leaders in our ever-developing world.

Our rich and inviting Reggio-inspired centres have been designed to give our young learners the freedom to experiment, to explore and to create.

We also take full advantage of our large, exciting outdoor spaces, where children explore through sensory and physical play – whilst also forging a strong connection to nature with our outdoor mud kitchens and garden areas.

Our centres are located in the vibrant communities of Al Safa and Downtown Dubai, within the campuses of Regent International School (Emaar’s ‘The Greens’) and Sunmarke School (Jumeirah Village Triangle), Villanova, Ibn Battuta Mall, JBR and Palm Jumeirah.

We are very happy with the Nursery. We are very pleased with all of the staff, reception, teaching assistants and especially the GM Ms Laura. They always greet us with a smile and are very helpful. The teachers are good too. My son is in Raindrops class and he loves his teacher.

Both my sons (now aged 2 and 4 ) have attended Jumeirah International Nursery, Al Safa. We utterly adore JINS! Staff and super caring and attentive, everyone from the cleaners to the principal takes the time every morning to say good morning to my boys by name. The children are challenged, the learniing environment is rich, diverse and stimulating. Teachers are passionate, skilled and loving. We could never be more grateful for the support and flexibility JINS gives us as two full time working parents. The nursery makes our lives happier, healthier and easier. We are tremendously grateful of the love, learning, inspiration and care given to our boys. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Our son Hugo has gone to JINS for the past 2 years. He has a smile on the face every time he goes there. The vibe is incredible there and we are always amazed by both the positive energy and professionalism displayed by the teachers. They make learning a joy of every moment which makes a huge difference. Next year, Hugo will go in FS2. And he already know all his letters, how to read simple words, how to count to 80, how to do simple additions. He is also a very happy child who has now linked school with happy moments. A big thank you to the staff. I would recommend without any hesitation.

My two children attended jins and I have been extremely happy with the care they had. Teachers were wonderful and so were all the assistants. They always ask to go back to nursery and they enjoyed their 4 years there. Staff do change but this is Dubai and things change. Some staff have been there more than 5 years and the new manager was the curriculum leader for 9 years and comes with lots of experience. Friends of mine still have children there and say things are good, lots of additional activities and great communication through newsletters and email.

At first I thought JINS had one of the most expensive fees around but then when I enrolled my daughter and after seeing the quality I am getting I understood. Even parents are nice which shows how satisfied they are at the Nursery. I especially enjoy the activities that they do which involves all the families.
