Kids Palace Nursery was founded by Sara Afshar in September 2005. It is conveniently situated in the residential area of Umm Suqeim 3 and suitably designed to meet the requirements of a nursery.
We recognise that our staff is our greatest strength. Our team reflects the vibrant multicultural facet of Dubai with strict adherence to the Ministry of Social Affairs. Our team is committed to offering a balanced routine with the right mix of organised play, encouraging curiosity and interest, thus stimulating the desire to learn and explore.
We believe that it is important for the nursery to be part of the community and we hold regular events throughout the year that ensure contacts are nurtured and maintained. We welcome visitors such as the dentist, support local charities, have trips out and welcome families during special events such as sports day and a teddy bears picnic.
The safety of children is our paramount concern. We are equipped with a full-time in-house nurse and a visiting doctor who is present at our premises every week, thereby ensuring adequate health care and safety for the children. We truly understand that our prime responsibility is the welfare and well-being of every child in our care.
Kids Palace Nursery believes that activity-based learning is an essential vehicle for nurturing the curiosity of the early years. We provide a stimulating environment where children are encouraged to build self-esteem, personal and social skills through a well scheduled activity plan and engaging learning techniques. By offering a balance of academic, artistic and physical activities, your child is prone to develop rapidly during the early years in regard to physical, emotional, intellectual and social characteristics. You will also witness a first hand improvement in your child’s behavior and attitude. Every child is unique and learns differently.
Our vision is to allow children to be thinkers, innovators and problem solvers. Kids Palace Nursery believes in creating excitement in the classroom by inculcating the active learning methodology. A holistic approach is established, where the foundations for positive attitudes are recognised in a safe and secure learning environment
Our aim is to make the formative years of a child’s life as enjoyable, rewarding and vibrant as possible. The endeavour to provide quality education and a caring environment motivates us to continually update ourselves with trending practices, concepts and strategies to deliver enhanced learning experience with a holistic perspective to support childhood. We embrace innovative techniques and aim to reinforce an optimistic behavior through positive affirmations of a child’s ability.

These are a wonderful way for children to engage with their teachers and classmates, to develop their vocabulary and their confidence, to enhance their motor skills and to learn day-to-day skills such as tying shoe-laces, washing hands, packing their bags. Through storytelling and fun games and activities the children will learn letter sounds, numbers and counting, colours and shapes. They will learn to share and take turns, to abide by class rules and to ensure their own safety while playing e.g. no running in the class, sitting nicely in their chairs and playing carefully with toys, all of which will prepare them for when they start school.
Learning a new language during the formative years has innumerable benefits. It helps children develop knowledge of other cultures, broadens their horizons and offers opportunities for the future. Research shows that a child’s ability to learn a new language is at the highest up to the age of 6. The natural curiosity of children maximizes their scope of learning and enables them to grasp various languages with ease. Exposure to multiple languages improves the neural activity of the brain, making children think in more than one language. When children learn other languages, they develop a life-long love towards communicating with others.
There are a total of 11 classes in our English section. We base all of our activities and lessons on the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework. This centres on the belief that children learn best through play in an enriched and stimulating environment.
At Kids Palace we have a French section comprised of three classes aged between 14 months and 4 years. The children learn through French and enjoy the same extra activities as in the English department. These classes follow the ………………
Each class has two Arabic lessons per week with a specialist teacher. They learn colours, shapes, numbers, songs and rhymes through Arabic. It isvery important for the children to learn about the culture and language in the UAE and gain an appreciation of the country in which they live.
This is a favourite with the children. It is a great opportunity for kids to develop their sensory skills. They play and experiment with various materials of different textures, colours and shapes. They learn to glue, cut, draw, fold and paint. Art and craft time can be organised or messy both of which the children love. They will develop creatively and enhance their fine motor skills through drawing, sticking and cutting.

There are probably over a hundred nurseries in the Jumeirah area, but I would personally vote this in the top 5. Our son is currently enrolled here and we’ve seen our share of nurseries over the past 10 years, as both our other kids studied in different ones. Although we may tend to focus on a lot of details, ultimately, what matters most is if the child feels comfortable. We have found the environment here to be very friendly, with lots of activities & interaction encouraged between kids.
