I enrolled to UOWD last year to undertake International Business and to be honest, it has been a wonderful experience to date. Classes are not monotonous lectures, it is interactive, we solve real business problems, and that makes the classes interesting. I have also befriended people of Asian, European and Middle Eastern origin, which is truly fitting the international component of the course! Also, Dubai itself is such a living business hub, you can see everything that we study around you in everyday life.

The class sizes are pretty small, so we actually get to interact with our professors, most of whom are super qualified and always ready to help. Very good place. It's well maintained and super exciting to learn things from there. They have their own library, football court and lots more. I had a chance to visit this place as a campus tour with my fellow classmates from school. It was really fun and the whole place is beautiful, well designed and really comfortable. I was able to attend a three-day executive learning class on CBRT at UOWD. It was interesting and insightful. The resilience techniques backed by a scientific approach were shared and discussed. UOWD has some amazing faculty members who gave these classes. In just three days, I felt that I developed new and fresh perspectives on dealing with many internal issues myself. I do suggest this short course which is worth every hour. Kudos to UOWD for taking the initiative to help academics and professionals like myself get access to new methods of training.

I took my Master's degree in Political Science from UOWD. It was in 2016 that I enrolled there. Ever since I was a teenager, I've always been fascinated by politics and international affairs. And this interest led me to join the University of Wollongong in Dubai. Faculty members at UOWD helped me a lot in exploring and learning more about these topics. As a student there, I could always talk to my teachers if I had any questions or wanted to discuss any particular subject. Thought id just quuckly leave a review here, completed my ielts exam here. Not knowing how it would be i must say i was impressed by all of the facilities.
Also during my break i went down to the cafeteria. I paid less than 40 aed for a yammie sub fresh well worth the price and a coffie. Also the team were great and kudos to the manager handling this outlet, great team effortless experience, simple things that should b easy was easy, no hassle.

Very professional test centre for IELTS test takers. I thank all the examiners for very friendly and professional approach to the candidates. I got the required band for my immigration purpose. The undergraduate degree at UOWD has been really flexible and the modules taught are very apt to the current market requirements. The ability to choose my own electives has helped me study finance as my major along with other accounting subjects that were not included in the Finance degree as a core requirement. The university does not have a campus but it does try its level best to give the students the university life they deserve. Not a good university if you are interested in sports as the facilities are minimal. But UOWD does have a special place in my heart.

I have had a mixed experience here. I went here my freshman year of college and didn’t settle in very well in my first year. I didn't experience much diversity at all and being an avid athletic student, found their sports and extra curricular activities rather weak in the beginning. Now however, UOWD is a whole other university. I graduated with Bachelors in Business, got a decent job in a Multinational Company and then enrolled again in their highly recognized MBA program. They’ve come a long way from their humble beginnings and as a fellow Australian I’m proud to have spent my academic years here.
