Dubai Marina Nursery

Welcome to Dubai Marina Nursery which is located down on the waterfront at Marina Walk. The nursery at Marina has a very International flavour with children coming through our doors from all around the globe. One thing children all over the world have in common is that they learn through play and so we follow the Early Years Curriculum with a play based approach to learning. We have a team of professional teaching staff who work very hard to ensure that the children are nurtured and encouraged to reach their full potential in all areas of the Foundation Stage Curriculum.

Children all over the world have one thing in common - they learn best through play. Therefore we follow the UK’s Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum as it has a play based approach to learning. We ensure that children settle in and are happy in our nursery. We work in partnership with parents to ensure the settling in process is pleasant. We recognize and honour the trust parents place in us, teaching and caring for their children at the nursery. The children’s health and safety are of the utmost importance to us and we take all possible measures and precautions to ensure they are kept safe and well. Risk assessments are done prior to the start of any day to ensure the facilities are safe and secure for the children.

Our team members are professional teaching staff and we also have a qualified nurse on duty. Each member puts in exceptional effort to ensure that your children are nurtured and encouraged to achieve their full potential in all areas of the Foundation Stage Curriculum. We provide a wonderful creative environment with a warm and friendly atmosphere that ensures learning is a fun experience each day. The children have fun while they engage with the curriculum and find that leaning is enjoyable.

We know the children never suspect how much thought, planning and preparation goes on behind the scene by our teachers to offer purposeful play which supports learning.

This creative approach, along with a focus on the important six areas of learning for early years, combines to offer an integrated holistic learning programme, where independent learning, curiosity and enthusiasm are developed.

Located in the picturesque Marina Walk waterfront, the Dubai Marina Nursery is custom fitted and allows plenty of natural light in with several unique spaces. We have six classrooms as well as indoor and outdoor play areas. These stimulating play areas include a sandpit, climbing equipment and open area that encompass a variety of natural textures. It is specifically designed to stimulate a child’s natural curiosity about the world around them. Each classroom is set up according to the curriculum with different corners to explore every day. In addition to the normal curriculum activities, we also have a music and Arabic teacher. Parking is easily available for when you are dropping or collecting your child.

It is recommended that the child attends the nursery on the basis of 5 days per week since regular attendance contributes to a sense of well–being in children and they settle into a routine quickly. However we also offer flexible attendance especially for the toddler age and parents can choose to enrol their child on the basis of 2 or 3 days per week.

Normal timings for the nursery are 8:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. and extended day timings are 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. We also offer paid After School Activities from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. (e.g. Soccer, Arabic, Art, Music & Movement, Yoga) for our 3-4 age groups in selected nurseries.

All children are welcomed personally by their teachers each day. Children may only leave the nursery at the end of the day with their parent(s), authorised persons (e.g. nanny or driver). Should parents wish to make any alternative arrangements, they must inform their child’s teacher or the nursery Vice Principal.
