Our ACS heritage extends back over 130 years to 1886 when Bishop Oldham started the first ACS school. We have a rich history, a strong brand and an illustrious alumni network.
ACS (International) is owned by the Methodist Church of Singapore. Christian values and inclusivity underpin all that we do — in academic pursuits, on the sports field, in leadership and in service to others. A half-hour Chapel Service is held every week for the whole school community where basic and universal Christian values are espoused.
We cater for Singaporeans and overseas students who are interested in an international curriculum in a Singaporean context, in particular, the “ACS brand of education”. Our establishment is in line with the Singapore Government’s aim of making Singapore an educational centre of excellence that serves both local and regional students.

When our daughter chose to go to ACS International for her studies, my wife and I were delighted that she would be educated in an institution of repute amongst Singaporeans and a growing cohort of international students.
Whilst intending to let matters lie , I chanced upon Google reviews of the school and discovered amongst the three international schools that took in locals, ACS International had the lowest approval ratings.
There was a sense of unhappiness underscoring the reviews and I felt it was appropriate that I shared my daughter’s experience.
During her time in ACS International, my daughter and her friends were taught by Elisa Zantos. Her experiences with Eliza Zantos were sadly not pleasant. Elisa Zantos would choose to ignore on more than one occasion my daughter and her friends in their attempts to participate in her class sessions . Not only would this take place but a pointed reference of her disapproval was shown by referring to them as “that girls’ group.”
The relationship deteriorated when Elisa Zantos pointedly tried to accuse my daughter of eating when she found a old sweet wrapper in my daughter’s bag.
Whilst these incidents are by and large an inevitability of poorer teaching assets passing through the checks and balances, it is a shame that ACS International should have teaching staff of this calibre.
It is my wish that parents who intend to have their children enrol in ACS International must understand that if Elisa Zantos is representative of the teaching staff, I worry that indeed we cannot hope that the best is yet to be.

Truly an inclusive and value-added school. I have seen my son grow passionately into a fine young gentleman in this 2 years in ACS International. The school has offered him opportunities to excel in his studies and in his interests within a nurturing space. Wonderful teachers, support system and admin staff who believe in the work that they do. It was truly God's hand that has led us in this journey. The Best is Yet to Be!
