The American School was founded in 2010 as a private and international Early Childhood to Grade 12 college preparatory school. Our goal is to educate the whole child incorporating mind, body, and spirit. strong partnership of motivated students, caring faculty and parents, affirms and challenges each person within a dynamic American educational program enriched by a multicultural setting in Vietnam. TAS promotes high standards of excellence by enhancing student learning for leadership in a global world.

The American School is dedicated to providing a quality American education that ensures academic success for all students accepted into the TAS learning community. To qualify for admission, students must demonstrate high learning aptitude, excellent behavior, and a strong commitment toward academic excellence. The admissions procedures are as follows:

The Admissions team provides in-depth consultation to parents and students about the program of study at the American School (TAS) and the admission requirements. Following a consultation with an Admissions counselor, a placement test will be arranged for those students whose academic performance at their current/previous school(s) meets minimum requirements.

School Description
The American School (TAS) prides itself on its ability to graduate strong, independent young adults who
understand that self-respect and confidence are created through hard work, reflection, and practice. TAS
prides itself on being a Private Internationally recognized K-12 Learning Institution. As a College Preparatory
School, our ultimate goal is to send our graduates to study abroad, particularly in the USA, though many of our
graduates have also historically studied in Australia, Canada, Singapore, & South Korea.

Location & Facilities
We have a large beautiful purpose-built campus in the An Phu Area of District 2 which houses 2 Swimming
Pools, 2 Gymnasiums, 2 Libraries, 2 Football Fields, and a Golf Driving Range. Classrooms are large, well lit,
and are filled with discussion, laughter, and purpose. The Auditorium is located on Levels 3 and 4, just below 9
Science Labs, and a Rooftop Garden complimented by a Tennis Court.
