Group-wide policies and expectations are set by the parent company (Cognita Holdings Ltd.). These policies and expectations relate to standards for Student Safeguarding, Health & Safety, Financial Management, Data Protection as well as governance and responsibility for operational oversight of the regions (which is devolved to the Regional Chief Executive Officer).
Governance oversight of Student Safeguarding and Health & Safety is executed through the deployment of Independent Reviewers. The Group expects each school to ensure clear systems for listening to and responding to members of the school community, this includes use of annual Voice of the Student, Parent and Employee surveys.

Cognita governs and manages each school via one of four regions. Each region has its own Chief Executive Officer and regional team. Responsibility for operational oversight and governance of schools is devolved from the parent company to the Regional Chief Executive Officer. Each region has published documents that provide clarity for the delegated governance relationship between their regional team and their schools. The Regional Chief Executive Officer is accountable to the Group Chief Executive.

I've been studying in AAVN for 5 years, and has just graduated in the year 2017. Just the duration of the time I spent at AAVN would already express how much I enjoy this school as well as everything that I've received from studying in AAVN. I'm heading to University of Melbourne for my degree in Biomedical Engineering, and I would say AAVN had contributed greatly toward my success. The one thing I truly appreciated from AAVN how I was taught to appreciate my own skills, my own abilities and how to excels in the things I love to do. With a varieties of extra curricular activities, I was able to experience multiple different activities, and improve multiple skills. At AAVN, students will be allow to improve their leadership skill, their debating skill, their public speaking skill, creativity, and most importantly, they will be taught how to express their thoughts in the most effective way. Our school not only want to develop students with high GPA, we also teach our students how to be a well rounded student. Even though our facilities are very limited, that doesn't stop us from developing sport teams that could win multiple trophies, or a school band that could confidently play in front of a large audiences. As long as your children is willing to put in the mind and determination, AAVN will help them achieve their best.

I've attended AAVN for the past five years (Class of 2017). This institution has provided me the most remarkable secondary school experience with its advanced education system. It presented me a plethora of classes/programs; the wide range of choices gave me an easier path to find my passion. Secondary schools are usually viewed as the stepping stones to one's future. AAVN proved to be more than just stepping stones; the academy was a bridge connecting me to possibilities around the world.
