At Tondu, we are passionate about and committed to the welfare of our children and we expect all our staff and visitors to be committed as well. We ensure that consistent, effective safeguarding practices are in place to support staff, children and families. All staff are trained in safeguarding procedures. We have robust policies in place, which support the wellbeing of both children and staff. These which underpin our ethos and values.
As a rights respecting school, we fully uphold the Articles of the United Nations Convention for Rights of the Child (UNCRC). At Tondu, we have trained Child Protection Officers who process any concerns about children.
All children and young people have the right to grow up free from harm, neglect and abuse. If you are worried about a child or young person, please contact the school and ask to speak to a Child Protection Officer.
