Job Summary

  • Assist the Head in developing a compliance program aimed at reducing risk for the hospital.
  • Monitor the regulatory compliance for all nursing floors and ancillary departments.
  • Coordinate the implementation, monitoring and enforcement of compliance initiatives.
  • Collaborate with departments to direct compliance issues to appropriate channels for investigation and resolution.
  • Monitor and ensure that key quality activities are completed on time and accurately in order to present results to key departmental management and meet regulatory requirements.
  • Develop reports to interpret regulatory specifications, explain programs and results of programs, and document findings and limitations of department interventions.
  • Highlight any gaps in processes that may require remediation.
  • Identify potential sources of loss and solution to solve problems.
  • Handle all Physicians credentialing.
  • Respond to all compliance inquiries that may arise.
  • Monitor, and as necessary, coordinate compliance activities of other departments to remain abreast of the status of all compliance activities and to identify trends.

Requirements

Education

  • University Degree from a recognized university, preferably a Science Degree in Nursing or other healthcare discipline.
  • Formal training or certification in Quality Management Systems (QMS) or Healthcare Compliance preferred.

Knowledge

  • Knowledge in clinical decision-making and case management review and evaluation.
  • Knowledge of preventive health, health management and disease management auditing skills and standards.
  • Acute knowledge of typical acute care hospital practices and routines.
  • Current understanding of Joint Commission regulations.
  • Proficient in Arabic and English (speaking and writing).

Experience

  • 4 to 6 years of experience in a quality compliance function in Healthcare, Pharmaceutical, or Medical Device related industry.
  • Experience with drafting policies.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio
