Welcome to our International Day and Boarding School Collège du Léman is an international school located in Geneva, Switzerland and offers individual growth, academic excellence and lifelong learning to students age 2 to 18, from Preschool through to Grade 12.
The school opened in May 1960, on the site of a former school. Its peaceful location on the right bank of Lake Geneva placed it between the thriving city and the beautiful countryside. Today the school enjoys a green, village-like campus that promotes the health and wellbeing that Switzerland is famous for.
Collège du Léman recently celebrated 60 years of excellence in education. It is a school that we are incredibly proud of, a school that believes in the importance of the community working together to create students that are their best selves. We are proud of our Swiss heritage and we are proud to be part of a family of nearly seventy Nord Anglia Education sister schools around the world.
As educators, we have a responsibility to prepare our students to become global citizens. We have to help each child find their place in this ever-changing world. They need to learn how to work with anyone, anywhere. At Collège du Leman we expect all members of our school community to understand and embrace the importance of equality and diversity, and to stand against discrimination in any form.
We inspire, empower and challenge our students, encouraging them to be positive contributors to the school and society in which they live. Outstanding teachers build on our exceptional breadth of courses and activities, creating individual learning journeys for each and every child, from the little two year olds, all the way up to our somewhat larger graduates.
Our students can study in English or French, or follow our bilingual programmes. They can choose from a range of diplomas and from more than a hundred exciting extra curricular activities. Through Nord Anglia they enjoy collaborations with the UN, the Juilliard school and MIT. All of this on a beautiful, green campus on the edge of Lake Geneva, in full view of the snow capped Swiss Alps. It’s a world of opportunities.
Our three pillars of academic excellence, quality learning and effective teaching are built on a foundation of well-being that is at the heart of the curriculum. For students to achieve their full potential, we believe that their physical, emotional and social needs must be met.
We recruit and retain outstanding teachers from around the world. We are part of the Nord Anglia Education family of schools, receiving 32 applications for each teaching position. Our team of experienced staff are adept at integrating students from all nationalities and backgrounds to ensure a smooth start to their studies. Our teachers experience world- leading professional development both within the school and through Nord Anglia Education’s extensive training programmes.
Collège du Léman was founded by a leading Swiss educator, with the aim of offering a learning experience that has the precision and excellence Switzerland is famous for. Our neutral Swiss culture provides an inclusive, safe sense of belonging for all nationalities, cultures and creeds. We are proud to be recognized around the world as a prestigious school, but at the same time we nurture a sense of humility and social responsibility in our students. Our RISE values of Respect, Internationalism, School Spirit and Excellence are at the heart of daily life at Collège du Léman and unite our diverse community. Our students feel that they are part of one big family.

I have three children at Collège du Léman and they are all incredibly happy - after several changes of country and school, they were able to settle into Collège du Léman quickly and easily and have made friends with children from a variety of countries.

Dedicated teachers who cultivate an interest and love for a specific subject, not merely teaching. My daughter has been there for the past year in middle school and is a happy balanced student.
