As in any family, each of Collège du Léman’s boarding students holds a special and unique place. Whether your child is a first-time boarder or at ease away from home, the warm welcome of our boarding houses guarantees a smooth transition into their second family.
We offer family-friendly boarding for 250 boys and girls, in modern and secure facilities, cared for 24/7 by our experienced House Parents.
Our boarding community is a big family and each Boarding House provides a friendly and welcoming home.
As a school, we welcome over 100 different nationalities to our community, and the discovery of new cultures and languages is a privilege that we want our students to experience fully.
Students are encouraged to use all the benefits of belonging to this community to make friends from all over the world, discover new cultures and interests. In addition, this has the benefit of providing a global network for the future.
Girls and boys are located in separate houses. Boarders are always proud of their houses, whichever one they belong to. The standard of each house is the same, but each one allows for different tastes and focus.

We believe that strong support system and close role models are vital to theacademic and personal growth of our students.
Much more than caregivers, the House Parents are mentors, counsellors and friends, available round the clock for any need, be it emotional, academic or practical.
The Boarding Houses and the rules are all based on the same principles that naturally occur in a family home. EachBoarding House hasHouse Parents that are there to oversee the smooth running of student life.
The Houseparents live in and share the Boarding House with their team of Graduate Assistants, resident and non-resident Tutors. The team’s responsibility is to care for the children, some of whom may be away from home for the first time.
We encourage our students to experience the simple pleasures of growing vegetables and fruits.Even in the 21st century with a technology-rich curriculum, we ensure our students are in tune with some of life's simple pleasures, such as gardening.
One of the main benefits of boarding is the round the clock education that students receive. This leads toeffectiveacademic, social and personal development.
The house parents and the tutors keep a close eye on both the academic performance and the wellbeing of each child and report back to parents on both areas in depth.
Boarding can provide an excellent transition from home to independence and maturity. The Senior Boarding Houses, and the outside villas, enable boys and girls to enjoy the benefits of boarding at an important stage in their school careers, and to prepare for life at university.
Collège du Léman offers boarders a structured, relaxed, consistent and friendly home in which to develop into young adults, confident in themselves, with a developed sense of responsibility and a sound academic understanding to move on to universities. We believe that young people thrive on high expectations and plenty of justified praise. Our many boarding staff are genuinely conscientious, committed, caring and approachable.
Medical Centre and Boarding Counsellor
Our aim is to make sure that students are healthy and successful in school, so attending classes is the priority. However, there are inevitably times when students may need to rest when they are ill. The Health Centre is open Mondays to Fridays from 07:30 to 18:30. It is staffed by three qualified nurses, and the school doctor visits twice a week. Of course, if a student needs to see a doctor urgently, the local doctor’s offices are five minutes away.
The nurses arrange all the appointments including the physiotherapy, orthodontist and dentist appointments. All medical appointments are covered by the school insurance policy, but dental and orthodontal work will be billed to parents.
Healthy and Balanced meals
Our catering team cooks fresh food on campus every day for our students. We treat mealtimes not just as an opportunity to refuel bodies for a busy day, but as an opportunity to switch off from the internet, and to engage in a more mindful routine of conversation.Meals are taken centrally in our Dining Room, and students must attend every meal. Vegetarian options are available and there is always a selection of hot and cold dishes. Specific dietary requirements can of course be catered for.
