Global Indian International School (GIIS), Singapore, is happy to announce excellent results in the IBDP and CBSE school-leaving examinations for Grade 12 students this year.
Our IB Diploma students have done their parents and the school proud once again in the May 2022 exams with:
52% of GIIS’ IBDP cohort of 2022 graduated with over 40 points this year. Our average score of 38.6 surpasses the global IBDP average (31.98) by a significant margin and also exceeds the Singapore international schools’ average (37.49) for 2022.
As one of the top international IB schools in Singapore, GIIS has been offering the IB Diploma Programme for secondary school students since 2005.
The IBDP is a rigorous pre-university programme for Grade 11 and 12 students that prepares them for life at university and beyond.
GIIS’ IBDP coordinator, Ms. Deepa Chandrasekaran, who is responsible for the pedagogical and administrative leadership within the programme at GIIS says, “The IBDP requires a large amount of critical thinking, inquiry and independent research. The Diploma programme expands students’ learning by challenging them to apply the various skills acquired and expand their understanding.”
With outstanding results in the IBDP for more than a decade, GIIS’ results are a testimony to our commitment towards academic and student excellence.
Our CBSE students continued to do exceptionally well in their Year 12 exams with a school average of 85.8%. The 2022 cohort included students who scored 99% and 98.6% for Commerce and Science streams respectively. All of our students have made us so proud with their hard work, initiative and outstanding achievements.
