Mohammed bin Khalid Al Nahyan School for Generations was established in 2000 AD in the city of Al Ain under the patronage and supervision of Her Highness Sheikha Dr. Shamma bint Mohammed bin Khalid Al Nahyan, and it is affiliated to the private education system of the Ministry of Education in the United Arab Emirates and the supervision of the Department of Education and Knowledge.

The overall quality of the school’s performance is acceptable. Students enjoy very positive relationships within the school and show this through their good behaviour and positive attitudes to learning. Their appreciation of the heritage, culture and future vision of the UAE and their understanding of Islamic values are key strengths of their learning. Most children begin kindergarten (KG) with knowledge and skills that are low when compared to those expected for their age. Their attainment and progress become good because of improved teaching since the last inspection. In the main school, attainment and progress are acceptable and improving well. Students’ personal development is consistently good throughout the school. The quality of teaching, assessment and the curriculum are acceptable overall and best in the KG. Support for the small number of students with special educational needs (SEN) is acceptable overall. The school has been effective in establishing strong links with parents and the local community.
