Welcome to The Raffles Early Childhood Centre, Springs and Starters where we welcome children from 45 days to 6 years of age and follow the British E.Y.F.S Curriculum.
We are a very warm, cosy and friendly setting that is conveniently located next to Springs Souk, where we are pleased to welcome children from the Springs and the wider community – including Meadows, Emirates Hills, Jumeirah Islands, Jumeirah Park and Beyond.
At Raffles ECC, Springs we offer a child-centric approach to early year’s education through the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum. Our team of early years professionals are highly qualified and experienced to ensure that every child’s needs and interests are planned for.
Emphasis is placed on individual development, through continuous observation of the children in our care, we are able to differentiate what we do every day to ensure that their unique potential is met.
Our ECC at Springs is a purpose- built setting that is built in two blocks with a large shared outdoor space. One block is specifically designed with our younger children in mind and the second block is for our older children which supports a gradual transition to ‘big school’.

My daughter attended the Springs Nursery for a year 2009/10. The nursery follows the Montessori curriculum. The classrooms are bright and spacious and my daughter’s teacher was specially excellent. My daughter had an enjoyable year! However, on the flip side, as a parent whose child is attending school for the very first time…I found the management on the defensive and I remember quite a few uncomfortable meetings. Since before summer this year, the management of the school has changed from Raffles Education (a recognized Singapore-based Education corporation) to Innoventures (a local company) and that has brought about a negative shift in the quality of the teachers with a lot of the former teachers either leaving or being downsized. As the nursery only accepts kids until the age of 4yrs - my daughter doesn’t attend this nursery any more.
