As a parent at Abbotsholme, I can genuinely say the school delivers on what so many others simply claim. My daughter is actually known here — as an individual, not just another name on a list. Unlike other local private schools that advertise small class sizes but don’t always live up to it, Abbotsholme truly provides personalised, attentive teaching. Her teachers understand her strengths and her areas for development, and they challenge her to be the very best version of herself, not just to tick boxes or generate good statistics for the school. The breadth of extracurricular opportunities is remarkable. You simply don’t find this combination elsewhere: sport (where they consistently hold their own against much larger schools), equestrian activities, the farm, the outdoor learning and adventures, all of it shapes confident, grounded, happy young people! My daughter has created memories and friendships that will last a lifetime, and she is thriving in every sense. The school’s new direction, guided by a competent and energetic head, combined with the merger with Chase, has brought fresh academic rigour, clarity, and a renewed sense of ambition.
