ACS Jakarta

ACS Jakarta is an International Baccalaureate World School and an authorized Cambridge Centre offering a world standard education to children from 3 - 18. Set in a safe, semi-rural environment located off the Jorr Tol at Kelurahan Setu, approximately 15 kilometers south-east of central Jakarta, it is within easy reach of Jakarta 's main residential areas in South and North Jakarta.

We believe in bringing our students to their full potential and by preparing them for their next stage in education by offering a well-rounded and challenging curriculum. Our children also learn the importance of having good character and values via our devotions and our pupil development and religion lessons.

Our Kindergarten students focus on personal, social and emotional development, giving them more self-confidence and independence preparing them for Primary School. They also get the basics of language (English, Indonesian and Mandarin), and mathematics.

Our Primary School students continue on this development and they are also guided along towards the Cambridge Checkpoint at the end of Grade 6. By doing so, this gives them as sound foundation for Secondary School.
Our Secondary Students begin as generalists, getting a good grounding in a wide range of subjects before specialising slightly as they embark on the Cambridge International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) programme in Grades 9 and 10. Students opt for subjects based on their interest, aptitude and advice from their teachers.

The culmination of their years here are in Grades 11 and 12 as our students prepare for university by taking up the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme. Students further specialise here and are also mentored as they gain not just content but also skills which are vital for university education.

Students throughout the grade levels may take part in Co-Curricular Activities after school. This, together with camps, excursions, sports and cultural activities the school organises, will give our students a 21st century education which is not restricted to the confines of the classroom.

We aim to provide holistic education in an environment which seeks to bring out the potential in every student to the fullest; developing in each a strong moral character, imbued with Godly values & principles and to guide and prepare him or her to be a leader for the greater good and of service to others.

Sekolah Tiara Bangsa was established in Cibubur in July, 1996 by a group of parents with the common goal of establishing a school operating within National Plus Schools system and providing a high standard of education with English as the language of instruction. It was to be a school promoting strong moral principles and offering internationally recognized curricula to bring out the best in students through a skills-based approach to learning.

The school grew gradually, overcoming various obstacles, and in 2002, entered into a partnership with Anglo Chinese School* in Singapore to strengthen its academic programmes.

In July 2006, the school became known as ACS Jakarta, the first overseas campus of ACS, and moved to custom-built campus in Cilangkap.

Today, even more committed to providing a values-based education augmented by internationally-benchmarked curricula, ACS Jakarta is a selective K - 12 school for academically promising students, preparing them for continued academic success and for their future. An ACS education stands for holistic education: the total development of a child so as to maximize his or her potential for the greater good and service to others.

The Anglo Chinese School has shaped the lives of thousands of students since its founding by Bishop William Fitzjames Oldham on 1st March 1886 in a small shophouse at 70 Amoy Street, Singapore. It began thirteen boys and has since grown to become a family of over 10,000 students in 7 schools: ACS (Junior), ACS (Primary), ACS (Barker Road), ACS (Independent), ACS (International) and Anglo-Chinese Junior College in Singapore and ACS Jakarta in Indonesia.

Guided by the school’s vision, mission statement, and values, ACS Jakarta’s education aims to nurture caring, humble, and excellent leaders who are able to work respectfully with and in the service of others to create a better and more peaceful world through Godly values and principles. To achieve the aforementioned, ACS Jakarta believes that creating a conducive learning environment for students is key. As a result, teaching and learning in ACS Jakarta strive to:
