Located in a quiet soi off Ramkhamhaeng road in Sapansung district, Bangkok, Ascot International School opened in 1995 and has since grown to become one of the top international schools in Bangkok that offers multiple International Baccalaureate programmes. At Ascot, we believe in creating lifelong learners, with an emphasis on preparing students for an ever changing world. Ascot was established in 1995 at a time when there were no international schools in the Saphan Sung area. Initially it was called Park Place International School and provided an education for the Early Years, but due to popular demand the school expanded and built a Primary School facility . This steady and sustainable growth continued and a Secondary School, by this time the school had changed its name to Ascot International School and in 2011 had received accreditation from the Council of International Schools (CIS). Ascot became a Cambridge International Examinations (CIE) Centre offering a wide range of IGCSE subjects and in 2012, students began studying for CIE Advanced Levels (A levels). In 2014 the school was again accredited by CIS for the whole school from Nursery until year 13.
The school continued to grow and in new secondary building was added and in the same year was authorised as an International Baccalaureate (IB) World School offering the IB Diploma Programme. IB World Schools share a common philosophy—a commitment to improve the teaching and learning of a diverse and inclusive community of students by delivering challenging, high quality programmes of international education that share a powerful vision.
In order to feel the warmth of Ascot, you need to visit the school , to see the smiling faces of the children as they run into school, to see them play together and hear their laughter. We are very proud of our school and its culture, it is a culture of support where students can take risks and explore learning. This culture has been built over 20 years and every member of the school contributes to its success, students, parents, teachers, TA, maids, nannies and support staff.
We have received authorisation from many external accreditation boards who attest to the fact that the education on offer is of a high international standard. The accreditation status that we have achieved so far include International Baccalaureate Organisation (IBO), Council of International Schools (CIS), Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC), and we are an authorised examination centre for IGCSE and A Level examinations for the Cambridge International Examinations (CIE) boards. We are also accredited by national bodies in Thailand, which include the Office for National Education Standards and Quality Assessment (ONESQA) and the Office of the Private Education Commission (OPEC).

We love the school. I love the fact that is IB program from primary and goes all the way to IB diploma. The staff is very caring. The atmosphere is great. My boys are very happy and that is what is important. And they still learn Mandarin and Thai. The communication is so easy with teachers, principal and headmasters.

My kids have been going for over a decade and this is probably the best kept secret in Bangkok. The teachers and facilities are the best for the kids and I couldn't recommend them anymore.
