Avondale is committed to nurturing academic achievement. Each year, an Academic Excellence Scholarship is awarded to all high achieving applicants from Australia and New Zealand. Students must be ranked in the top 10% of the state, territory or country (i.e. receive an Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) or equivalent of 90+). Eligible applicants may have up to a maximum of one gap year after completing secondary school.
Value:
$2,000 ($1,000 per semester) for the first year of study and $1,500 ($750 per semester) in each successive year in an undergraduate or VET course (maximum $6,500).

Postgraduate masters degrees, by both coursework and research, are available in many of the same areas. Doctoral degrees are available in Education, Arts, Nursing, and Ministry and Theology. Avondale also offers a higher education Diploma of General Studies and vocational awards in outdoor recreation. All courses of study have received national accreditation.
