Bangkok Patana School is Thailand’s original British international school for students from 2 to 18 years. Our not-for-profit school has remained at the forefront of education in Thailand and is today one of the most respected educational establishments in South East Asia.
We provide learning from Foundation Stage right through to Senior Studies, for over 2,200 students from around 60 countries. The School follows a modified English National curriculum up to Year 11 and the International Baccalaureate in Years 12 and 13. Bangkok Patana School is committed to nurturing lifelong learners who can adapt to an ever-changing world. Our goal is to give your children the best intellectual, physical and social preparation for their futures.
Our teachers are experienced and fully qualified with about 85% recruited from the UK or from British international schools. We recruit specialists to ensure we are at the forefront of learning. Our extensive campus and outstanding facilities allow us to offer excellent choices so students can pursue their own particular ambitions and interests. We emphasise a holistic approach, giving students extensive opportunities to round out their classroom learning through extensive extra-curricular and community activities that provide real life experiences.
Our school is unique in that almost all of our operational services are done in-house. Operating our own transport service allows us to offer a safe, door-to-door bus service at good rates; in-house catering includes a nutritionist who works alongside the chefs to provide healthy, balanced and tasty food for the community.
The Stewardship Report provides an overview of the organisation and operational activities at Bangkok Patana School. The Student Achievement book highlights students’ achievement during the academic year.
Our mission is to ensure that students of different nationalities grow to their full potential as independent learners in a caring British international community.
We develop global citizens who shape their world through independence, empathy, creativity and critical thinking.

One of top international schools in Bangkok. Fee structure is on higher range but the teaching staff are very caring n friendly, child is made focus on basics which helps them to enhance their confidence n better understanding rather forcefully memorizing. They focus on extra curricular activities to identify and improve sport & arts skills of the students. Bangkok Patana is oldest British school in Thailand probably in South East Asia.. notably they have student mix from more than 50 countries around the globe which develops inclusive and diverse culture to the young generation

My daughter comes here and she has the best time learning and playing with her friends. The facilities are very modern and good quality. The people here are very kind and have no trouble to communicate with. I trust this school and my daughter tells me it's a very environmentally friendly school. It has many celebration such as tiger spirit day which is a day to dress up as a tigers and donate by doing chores for your parents and earn money. There is also teams eg. Gymnastics team and tiger sharks(swimming team).

Bangkok Patana School does an excellent job of navigating the fine line between discipline and freedom, between high achievement and personal growth, between rigor and fun. The teachers we have met are talented, motivated and kind. The older kids are occasionally encouraged to programs where they mentor and interact with the younger grades and it seems good for the growth of both sets of kids. When my wife and I see young people at this school during a visit, they are well-mannered and bright-eyed. They are smiling and engaged. My family is leaving Thailand next year, but it will be hard to leave BPS behind. My children have thrived at this school. Very telling that many of the teachers we met have told us they have no plans to leave until after their own children have graduated.

Patana is a great school. The facilities are good along with brilliant teaching techniques. Although the school is a little cheap and wants more money from the families (E.g. You can't charge your laptops there since it will make the electricity bill go up) and the staff are sometimes lazy, the school has many good students that now lead excellent lives. I have a kid going there and he is loving it!

Bangkok Patana is one of the top international schools in Thailand. Excellent British curriculum education in small groups, offered by well-trained, highly motivated teachers. Just the traffic situation is a bit difficult and the school fees can of course be a challenge.
