Being affiliated with Bromsgrove School, UK enables us to draw on over 460 years of experience in education. We aim to bring the best aspects of that history focusing on the development of each student by providing them with a traditional ‘British’ education in an international setting. Academically selective, BIST follows an enhanced form of the English National Curriculum, which enjoys an excellent reputation throughout the world. The emphasis is on how to learn, rather than just memorising factual knowledge, and a great deal of importance is placed on the students’ ability to work independently and to develop their own critical thinking.

Following the best of British traditions, we offer an appropriate and challenging programme of study, based upon the National Curriculum for England, whilst incorporating the flexibility to effectively respond to global change. Our students ultimately take IGCSE, AS, A level examinations, and we also offer the BTEC qualification. These options open doors to universities worldwide.

Through a combination of ‘environment’ and our ‘play based learning’ we aim to develop the potential in each and every one of our students. We understand that a child’s right and left brain develops at different stages and we therefore strive to capture the learning potential of each. We ensure that we develop a child’s right brain with empathy, intuition, imagination and creativity as well as developing the more the logical left brain, with the development of language, literacy and mathematics. Young children are the future and at Bromsgrove Early Years School we endeavour to make each child feel like an individual who has the same opportunities and experiences that they would receive in a traditional British independent school, whilst at the same time learning about the local Thai culture of our host country. We celebrate being located in an international setting and as such provide the opportunity for children to develop an awareness of the international world in which they live, through festivals and cultural celebrations.

The Early Years Campus caters for children aged 2 – 6 years of age. We operate both the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum for children aged 2 – 5 years and the English National Curriculum (ENC) for children aged 5 – 6 years.

We offer a curriculum that fosters a holistic approach to education, equipping children with the basic experiences needed to go forward in life both inside and outside of school. The medium of instruction is English. In addition, we offer Thai lessons to all children, allowing children to learn about the local culture and language. Learning at BIST Early Years Campus is both teacher and child led.
