Buses are the most popular type of transport in Oman because they are cheap and cover all major roads and areas. Short trip rides can cost about 200 baizas. There are large public buses in Muscat are more expensive. These buses in Oman are color coded in red and green.
The Oman National Transport Corporation (ONTC) offer regular bus services to Salalah, Nizwa, Sohar and Dubai among other destinations.
