Global Bilingual Academy (GBA)

A bilingual setting improves students’ memory and attention span. The diversity of learning in a bilingual environment helps our students be better prepared for success in a global society, whether they remain in the Gulf region or study abroad. Our children benefit from both an Arabic and English based curriculum. We focus on the United States Common Core standards for English Language Arts and Mathematics, as well as the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS).

Our entire staff works together to foster a positive atmosphere that will encourage our students’ intellectual and emotional growth. We strive to help the students learn and practice having positive and productive interactions with others. These are lifelong skills that will contribute to each child’s success in every aspect of their lives.

GBA has an involved multinational staff working together to be the best they can possibly be. We care not only about academics, but about teaching students to be well-rounded. We seek the best teachers from around the world who are knowledgeable in their field and care about the students as individuals. GBA aspires to develop a well-rounded global bilingual citizen. Our bilingual and multi-national educational environment, opportunities for student leadership, and focused theme weeks help build resilience and empathy toward others and other cultures.

GBA sponsored clubs, sports, field trips, and international travel bring real life educational and fun experiences that enhance a child’s academic learning.

We aspire to be the leading, accredited academic institution in bilingual education providing our students with comprehensive, rigorous instructional programs and to prepare them for lifelong academic and professional success.

The mission of Global Bilingual Academy School (GBA) is to:

• Deliver and utilize high standards of a rigorous curriculum and apply powerful educational instruction using state of the art technology that is focused on academic and linguistic competence in Arabic and English.
• Provide a learning environment that is safe, orderly and positively geared to making students feel valued, challenged, supported and encouraged to pursue self-discovery and become lifelong inquiry-based learners.
• Challenge and support our students to become critical thinkers, effective communicators and responsible global citizens who respect their religious and cultural identity.
• Recruit and retain talented, multinational school staff that will create a strong professional teaching and learning culture.
