At Calderwood, we recognise that every student is created in God's image, with unique gifts. We encourage our students to explore a breadth of learning experiences to identify these gifts and determine how they might best serve Christ, their family and their community. Our dedicated Christian staff aim to grow confident, compassionate, well-rounded young people who will be the agile thinkers, doers, and world-changers of tomorrow.

At Calderwood, we value academic achievement, sporting prowess, musical aptitude, and community involvement. However, Christian education is about so much more than excellence in these limited fields. We believe that education is primarily about the formation of young men and women who pursue excellence in all they do and all they are, to the glory of God.

We celebrate the inherent creativity, incalculable value, and eternal potential of each student. Calderwood understands that each child reflects the image of God and therefore has an inherent longing to make their mark on the world into which they graduate.

We believe education is not truly education unless it is conducted ‘in Christ’s service’, based on the Word of God and lived out in community. It is for this reason that Calderwood partners with parents to provide for the spiritual formation of their children, through authentic Christian community.

Students grow in character, shaping and moulding their virtues, gifts and passions through age-appropriate learning activities, being around other Christians and through the mentorship of their faithful teachers.

Calderwood Christian School is a growing school for a growing community, and continues to implement intentional and scalable projects and initiatives to ensure perpetual improvement.
