Welcome At International Community School (Singapore), transformation occurs holistically. We pursue knowledge and inspire learning because we believe that God has a plan for each of our students and has created them with unique gifts and abilities. As we intentionally invest in each child, we expect our students to become difference makers within their spheres of influence—at home, at school, locally in their neighborhoods, and globally. While our primary purpose as a school is to serve students, we seek to impact all in our community during their time at ICS through a tangible difference in culture and perspective.

Mission

Educating Minds and Transforming Lives to Impact the World for the Glory of God. We educate minds because we believe that God has a plan for each of our students and has created them with unique gifts and abilities. We believe that transformation occurs holistically so we actively invest in the personal growth and academic development of all learners. We believe that our students are global learners with the ability to lead positive change, impacting the world for God’s glory through their individual skills, talents, and purpose.

Vision

Our authentic international educational community will serve as a gateway to purpose, empowering and equipping global learners to lead positive change. This vision serves as a guide for the future of International Community School (Singapore) for the current school year and beyond. It highlights our understanding that our purpose as an educational community is to support our team members, partner with our parents, and prepare our students for success. With this goal in mind, we remain committed to serving every student, every family, every day for Christ.

In the early 1990s, a diverse group of expatriate families looked for an international school in Singapore that was not only academically challenging and community oriented, but also Christ-centered and biblically focused. When this collective of dreamers could not find a school to fit their needs, they founded their own. International Community School (Singapore), then Christian International School (CIS) began its inaugural year on September 6, 1993 with less than 20 students and only two teachers.

Since then, International Community School (Singapore) joined the Network of International Christian Schools (NICS), received international accreditation from Association of Christian Schools International (ASCI) and Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC), and was certified by EduTrust in Singapore. Our school has offered a dynamic and transformative educational experience at three locations and continues to be a place where students are known, parents partner with teachers for the success of each child, and all community members are welcomed and valuable.

Today, more than 350 students from approximately 30 nations are educated and embraced by our authentic international educational community. Our highly educated and passionate team members average more than 10 years of experience. Our leadership team pursues excellence in all areas, giving targeted and intentional attention to ongoing improvement of our campus, best practice updates to our curriculum, and forward-thinking stewardship as we grow into Singapore’s leading international Christian school. Our graduates continue to pursue their unique purposes in top universities around the globe, occasionally returning to our school to guide and grow the next generation of learners as teachers and team members. We invest in all students, from our littlest learners to our high school graduates, regardless of how long they study with us at International Community School (Singapore).

This school has transformed my child's education experience; the American curriculum is engaging, and the dedication of the staff truly fosters remarkable progress and confidence in students.

The most genuine people here, a very safe place and the children feel loved. It’s where all the children are seen and known—really cared for. The staff knows the children on a first name basis. Thank you ICS!!

My child just started going to first grade here! Just based on her being here for 1.5 weeks, I can tell that she is going to love it here. Myself and my wife love the staff here, including Ms. Heather, Ms. Sarah Goh, and Principil Goh (no relations to Ms. Goh! Lol), and many others! Just found out that her awesome teacher Mrs. W is also from the Midwest! Great fostering environment (I don’t have to worry about bullying) to learn not only academics but also how to live a Godly and purpose driven life!

As an alumni who went to ICS through all three phases: Elementary, Middle, and High School, I can definitely vouch for the academic rigor and extracurricular activities that the school has to offer. With a smaller class size, the amount of attention and care you receive from your teacher is comparable with those of a larger class population. Teachers branch out their arms, helping students to succeed in both their academic and social life and making sure they are mentally prepared along the way.

Dropped by ICS recently and the visit brought back good memories of the time when my daughter was in ICS years ago in which she completed her High School Diploma in 2013. She has enjoyed school life then which gave her a good balance of academic and life learnings. The caring teaching team gave her guidance and played a role in shaping her journey of personal and academic development. I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to the team in ICS. Thanks again ICS

We've had our kids at ICS for 3 years in the elementary school and it's the best decision we have made for their education. It's a relatively smaller school than other American SG schools but that is the benefit. The community aspect (close knit, personal) creates a kind and genuine environment where the kids can thrive. We were so impressed with students that graduated that came back as teachers. Our kids are learning the right values of respect for others and if any issues arise, the teachers are immediately responsive.Definitely 5 star rating and highly recommend this school.

ICS is the best school in my heart. So much love, so many colourful activities, so many beautiful smiles. And school not just teach kids academically but also focus on building their characters and emotional health. My kids all love this school very much! We are blessed to have a journey here.

This is our family's 4th year in ICS. We really commend the nurturing and caring community in this school -- one of the benefits of a tight knit community! I love the school's approach to learning. I see that both my elementary kids are developing a growth mindset and strengthening "real world" skills in communication, collaboration, and critical thinking. For us as a Christian family, we really appreciate the Biblical worldview integration that ICS advocates for in its approach to education.

This is our 3rd year in ICS. My 2 middle schoolers love the school and teachers. As a small community, all of teachers (even staffs and principals) know every student and take care of them so much with love. Students are also so lovely. This school is really amazing, you can feel God's love through our community. ICS is the reason why our family wants to live in Singapore!!
