Registration

Documentation Require on Registration:

• Eight (8) current passport sized photographs
• Two (2) copies of your child’s passport and UAE visa and UAE ID
• Two (2) copies of your child’s birth certificate
• Two (2) copies of your child’s immunization record
• Two (2) copies of your child’s up to date medical record
• Two (2) copies of father’s passport and visa
• Two (2) copies of mother’s passport and visa Registration

Admission & Enrollment Policies

• Riverwood Nursery accepts children from communities in the surrounding areas. Children will be entered onto the nursery waiting list upon receipt of a completed application form, required documentation (see registration form) and non-refundable registration. Reregistration fees are to be paid at the beginning of each school year. Re enrollment fees are AED 500.
• Methods of payment: By cash or cheque prior to commencement of the terms by later than the payments dates listed under Tuition fees.
• A signed current immunisation card and physical form must be on file before the child attends the center. This procedure is in accordance with the regulations.
• We accept children from 45 days old to 4 years old. We can accept children older than 4 years old under specific circumstances and ADEK approval.
• The school day is 8am to 2pm, we offer early drop off from 6:45am for an early birds fee of 25 AED per hour and free early drop off from 7:30am. After school care is available from 2pm to 6pm for a fee of 25 AED per hour.
• We are open from Sunday to Thursday. The nursery is closed on Fridays and Saturdays.
• Tuition Fees are payable in advance and non-transferable and non-refundable. See payment schedule. Please note: There is a late fee charge of AED 25 per hour for every child with a grace period of one week only.
• There will be an administration charge of AED 200 for all dishonored cheques. In addition, the late fee of AED 50 per day will be charged from the due date.
• We are very committed to the safety of all our children. On arrival please make sure you bring your child into the school and handover to the teacher / teacher assistant, and that you sign the attendance logs. Please ensure that the named people on registration form are the only ones to bring and collect your child. This is very important.
• The Nursery will close for all public holidays and staff training days which are scheduled throughout the year. Please refer to the holiday dates on your school calendar.
• Fees are non-refundable and are payable for all the absences including illness, vacation, public holidays and any unforeseen closures of the Nursery.
• If you wish to withdraw your child, please give one month’s notice and provide us with a complete withdrawal form.
• Regular attendance is beneficial to the child and hence encouraged and monitored. Parents are requested to appreciate the importance of regular attendance.
• Riverwood Nursery uniform is mandatory.
• If you wish to deregister your child you must give the nursery one month’s written notice.
