Online Application
Complete the online application form in English, including the applicant’s educational and personal backgrounds and attach the required supporting documents. Please be reminded that we cannot begin processing an application until all necessary documents have been received through the online application program.
Evaluation Test
After the application period ends, all applicants will be informed to choose the date for the evaluation test among the options that DIS provides. An application processing fee of KRW 250,000 will be due for each applicant. If any waitlist student retests, the application processing fee will be KRW 50,000 and all application fees are non-refundable. Once all the documents are reviewed and payment is finalized, all applicants must take an evaluation test on campus:
Final Results
After a careful assessment of each applicant’s qualifications, students will be notified by about with the final admission result. Our admissions office is unable to provide specific information as to why this decision was made.
Korean Schools DIS
Students who have not fully completed their current school year will enter DIS at that current grade level. For some students, this may mean repeating a portion of their current grade level.
International/US Schools DIS
Students applying from international or U.S. schools that follow the US school calendar (August-June) will enter DIS at their current grade.
Kindergarten Program
Students who have not been enrolled in a school prior to entering DIS will enter the grade appropriate for them based on the Grade/Age Eligibility Guidelines and the DIS entrance exam and interview.
Non-Korean Citizens
DIS accepts non-Korean citizens on a rolling basis. Please submit a copy of the current Alien Registration Card and both parents’ passports with the completed online application. Dual citizenship holders who have Korean nationality are counted as Korean students at DIS according to the ‘Nationality Law’.
Korean Citizens
DIS accepts Korean students when there are vacancies. Please submit the online application according to the timeline.
