Llandovery College has an outstanding rugby history and a proud reputation of producing top-level rugby players and excellent examination results. Old Boys Alun Wyn Jones and George North are recent additions to the more than 50 former students awarded over 550 caps for Wales, a record eclipsing any other Welsh school in the history of the game. Other former Llandovery College students include Carys Phillips, Dafydd Hughes, Tomi Lewis, Harri O’Connor and Corey Baldwin.

Llandovery College is delighted to announce a new partnership with the Scarlets and the Ospreys and the appointment of Ioan Cunningham as Director of Llandovery College Elite Rugby. Ioan, former Scarlets forwards coach, implements an elite rugby development programme, leads on all tactical and technical elements for Llandovery College’s 1st XV and delivers individual plans for each one of our elite players. We enjoy a close working relationship with the Welsh Rugby Union and the Welsh Exiles and we will update you on further developments with other Regions shortly.
