We feel strongly that the admission process should be a personal and reciprocal relationship. We would like to get to know you, and we would like for you to get to know us.
CCA is deeply dedicated to fostering a life-long drive in students to learn and grow and make a difference in the world. We are excited to introduce you to what makes CCA an exceptional educational experience for students in kindergarten through grade 12.
CCA is an independent co-educational college preparatory day school for students in kindergarten through grade 12. The school is located on a gorgeous 46-acre campus that features outdoor classrooms, multiple athletic fields, two gymnasiums, tennis courts, state-of-the art science labs, music pavilions, multiple art studios, photo labs, and a black box theatre. Our mission is to instill a love of learning in students as they pursue academic excellence and develop life skills in a safe, values-centered community.
CCA’s challenging and dynamic college preparatory program is enriched by opportunities in the arts, athletics, and community service. Our students leave CCA exceptionally well prepared for college and beyond. One-hundred percent of Cape Cod Academy seniors are accepted to four-year colleges, with the majority matriculating to the top colleges and universities in the country.
Like no other school in our area, CCA has a vibrant population of international students who bring an added engagement to our school. These students enhance our diversity and bring a cross-cultural perspective to our domestic students, widening their awareness of different values and beliefs and improving social skills.
Innovation flourishes at CCA. We have accomplished, intuitive, and experienced faculty whose teaching is collaborative, holistic, and supportive. Our teachers are encouraged to develop new approaches based on the best research and their own experiences. Our faculty teach to the whole child, therefore our students thrive, not just in their studies, but as thoughtful, engaging, and contributing human beings.
During the first stage of the admissions process, we invite you to learn, explore, and discover what a Cape Cod Academy education might mean for you. Please complete this form or call our office to schedule a visit and to let us know you are interested in learning more about CCA.
To arrange your visit, please call us at 508-428-5400, ext. 226 or email admission@capecodacademy.org.
Once you have completed the inquiry form, please plan to visit us on campus for a tour and interview. The best way to get to know CCA is to spend some time here in person.
Information about the visit and interview:
We invite all applicants and their families to visit CCA. We will take you on a tour of campus, explain what we think makes CCA unique, and answer any questions you have. We hope this will give you a chance to see what the CCA experience is all about.
For applicants to Kindergarten to Grade 5: All applicants will meet with either the Director of Admission or the Director of the Lower School for an informal chat during their visit.
For applicants to Grade 6 and above: We ask that all applicants to Grade 6 and above meet with an admissions officer for a brief student interview. This may also be scheduled for the day of the student visit.
The application process is completely digital with all forms and components submitted online. Once you submit an inquiry form, you will be invited to create an online account through which you can access the application. The online application portal displays a complete checklist of application components for each applicant.
Completed applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis as space allows.
The student questionnaire should be completed independently by the student on the online application.
All application components, including teacher recommendations and school transcripts, may be submitted online.
Call the Admissions Office at 508-428-5400 to arrange a student visit day. Active applicants (those prospective students with submitted applications) are required to spend a day visiting with a current CCA student. Visits are available between October and November for Early Decision and October through February for First Round Decision. Students will visit with a student in their current grade. Kindergarten small-group visits will be scheduled in January and February once applications have been received. Please note: Applicants for Grade 5 and above must complete the Student Questionnaire before visiting.
You will receive an e-notification with the admission decision and financial assistance grant (if applicable). CCA will respond to applications on approximately December 15 for Early Decision and March 7 for First Round Decisions.
