STEP 4: PLANNING YOUR VISIT TO RECTORY

Visiting Rectory's campus while school is in session is the best way to determine if Rectory is the right fit for your family.

Meeting the Rectory School family--the students and the adults who are teachers, coaches, and dorm parents--is the best way to get to know us, and for us to get to know you, too.

Seeing our beautiful 138-acre campus and spending time in the Quiet Corner of Connecticut is an experience not to be missed.

Arriving on Campus

When you arrive on campus, please use the Admissions parking spots directly outside of the Admissions Office--please take your second left into the one-way circle after you enter the main parking lot. There are five parking spots (including one handicapped) available in the Admissions circle.

Enter these doors and let your Rectory journey begin.

If you're staying in town for a couple of days, you might want to check out the amenities surrounding Connecticut's Quiet Corner.

STEP 5: THE INTERVIEW

Campus Tour (approximately one hour)

Your campus tour consists of two sessions: the Ambassador-guided campus tour allows you to meet two of our current students who will show you around campus. You'll see the Collins Art Barn, the P.Y. & Kinmay Tang Performing Arts Center, the Calhoun Gymnasium, the dining hall, and, if you're a prospective boarding student, one of our dormitories. A member of our Admissions team will guide you through the academic buildings and explain to you how Rectory is different from other schools you might be looking at.

Interview (approximately one hour)

The interview process allows us to get to know one another better. The student and parents will meet separately with members of Rectory's Admissions Office.
