Oakland School welcomes students ages six through high school with a wide range of learning profiles. We serve children with and without learning differences and focus on ensuring that each student can thrive in our small, structured, and individualized learning environment.
Our admissions process is centered on understanding each child’s strengths, needs, and goals. Families begin by submitting an application and recent academic records, followed by a campus visit or virtual meeting. We review each application carefully to determine whether Oakland’s program is the right match for the student’s learning style and support needs.
Oakland is not a therapeutic or clinical program; rather, we are a private day school specializing in personalized instruction, multisensory teaching, and strong foundational skill-building. We welcome students who benefit from small classes, hands-on learning, and a nurturing community that helps them grow academically and personally.
