We accept boys and girls, with dyslexia and associated needs, aged from 7 to 19. Students can join mid-year, at any point in their school career, though we cannot admit new students into Years 10 or 12 after the first half-term, or Year 11, as this would involve their joining an exam class mid-way through.
All of our students have Specific Learning Difficulties, and their primary needs are typically Dyslexia and/ or Dyscalculia, often together with some Dyspraxia, Speech and Language and/or Sensory Integration disorders. We only admit children we consider will fit into and benefit from our school community. We do not admit children with Emotional Behavioural or Social Disorders.

If Frewen appears to be the right school for your child, the admissions will request copies of their latest reports, such as:
Open Morning
Parents are strongly encouraged to join to our Open Mornings, which are held regularly as a virtual event though Microsoft Teams. To register your interest, please choose one of the available dates for our Open Mornings on our on-line booking form, and we will send you an invitation.
Parent Visit
If our initial assessment confirms that Frewen appears suitable, we would invite parents/guardians, with the child, to visit the school for a more detailed discussion and to see the school first hand.
Evaluation
Arrangements would then be made for a full evaluation in school.
There is a small charge towards our costs in undertaking the Evaluation and Assessment
Evaluation Feedback
We will normally be able to let you know within a few days of completion whether we will be offering a place. We will also write a comprehensive evaluation report, and send this to you
