How to Apply
Thank you for your interest in applying for a place at Uptown International School. The process of applying to our school is a simple three-step process.
Step One
Please complete our Online Application Form.
Step Two
The confirmation email will provide a list of required documents and details on how to contact our admissions Team.
Step Three
We will contact you with a date for your child’s placement assessment, which will be administered by our admissions team and faculty. After the assessment and upon receiving an acceptance letter, a deposit fee is required to reserve your seat.
Acceptance to Uptown International School is contingent upon the results of the placement assessment, student interview and former school reports. We will always do you best to provide a place for your child.

Admission Details
Prior to the Assessment
- One copy of the child’s/children’s passport and one copy of the parent's or guardian's.
- Copy of past two years' school report, signed and stamped on the school’s letterhead.
- Copy of any diagnostic testing, educational assessment or psychological assessment (if applicable).
- Emirates ID copy of students and parents
- Student birth certificate
- Previous years school reports
- Application Fee of AED 500 plus 5% VAT added per government regulations. A placement assessment will not be undertaken until the application fee is received.
- Fees can be paid in person or using the Credit Card Authorization Form.

Following Assessment and Offer
- A non-refundable registration fee of 4,000 AED or 10% of the annual tuition fees is required to secure your child’s seat.
- Student photo
- Transfer (leaving) certificate
- Medical vaccination certificate
Before School Begins
- For Overseas Transfers: copy of the Transfer Certificate from your child's previous school, attested as per KHDA requirements.
- For Local Transfers: A KHDA-attested Transfer Certificate from the previous school is required. For Transfer Certificates, please click here.
- Recent medical record and copy of child’s/children’s vaccination card.
- Please download and complete the Medical Form.
