Boarding Students stay at Fishburne full-time except for leaves requested by their parents or guardians and approved by the school, and for those holidays and leaves shown on the school calendar.
Five-Day Boarding Students
The Five-Day Boarding Student was designed for students whose families reside within a reasonable driving distance from campus. These students reside in barracks throughout the week and return home from Friday evening until Sunday evening.
Fishburne Military School was the first military school in Virginia to open its doors to FIVE DAY BOARDING for students who seek the camaraderie and focus of a boarding school while still enjoying the comforts and closeness of living at home on weekends.
In addition to adding flexibility to your schedule, the Five-Day Boarding option can save your family a minimum of $4,000/year on tuition and expenses and, coupled with existing discounts and scholarships, can make our boarding school education more affordable and convenient. Whether your choose the Full Boarding option or the Five-Day Plan, you can be confident you’ll get the full benefit of the Fishburne experience.
As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, we are dedicated to doing all we can to provide a Fishburne Education for as many young men as possible. FMS offers need-based financial aid as well as tuition reductions, scholarships, and k-12 student loanoptions to make a private school education more affordable.
