Providing interdisciplinary programs, supported by multidisciplinary research, that give highly qualified engineers an entrepreneurial spirit, coupled with the theoretical, digital and practical knowledge, to work with and lead others to innovate and manage in an ever-changing world.

The profession of engineer is not organised, in the sense that it is not subjected to any inspections or administrative regulations. The access to engineer positions is, in principle, totally free. Only the title of qualified engineer is recognised and protected by the law and not the simple designation of engineer.

The title of qualified engineer can only be issued by a school authorised by the CTI, the French engineering accreditation institution, an official organisation, created by the law of July 10, 1934, and placed under the aegis of the Ministry of Higher Education. The title of qualified engineer awards the Master’s degree, and includes by order the mention of the school which has issued it.

The main aim of the Commission des Titres d’Ingénieur (CTI), an organisation of assessment and authorisation of engineer trainings, is the continuous improvement of these trainings in order to achieve a high level of quality.

If the self-assessment is from now on considered at the national and international level as the primordial and essential element for the quality of the Higher Education establishments, it must be completed by an external assessment.

The external assessment made by the CTI leads to the research of a permanent improvement and a national and international formal recognition of trainings.

Studying in ESILV, it’s acquiring an expertise and operational skills. It is also to be open to the company during its training. Teaching in small groups, team work, project-based teaching method, sports, work placement, international experiences contribute to the development and the success of each student. Because the human qualities are fundamental, ESILV develops a process of cultural and social opening through humanist project as much as teaching project. Everything is done to enable our students to develop their personality and their ability around common values.

The three schools of the Pôle Léonard de Vinci have developed an educational transversality which incites the decompartmentalisation of teaching methods and enables students to work in multidisciplinary teams (managers, engineers, specialists of Internet and multimedia), while progressing in their training and their digital knowledge. This organisation, strengthened by the presence of a multi-school incubator, is accompanied by possibilities of double degrees with EMLV (Léonard de Vinci School of Management) in entrepreneurship and finance.

he whole of the teachers and all the teaching team follow closely the individual evolution and the results of students who benefit from a specific supervision. Tutoring is given out and some regular meetings take place to enable everyone to progress and succeed.

Master’s degree, a profession, some opportunities within the CV… These results are the fruit of a strong personal investment in our students in their schools. It is also a chance, of being supported by their family and undertaking the good course choices. This awareness provokes more and more often our young graduates the wish to devote their time in return. That’s why we invite and care for those who have the interest and the wish to create their profession and the others’ one. It is about a beautiful expression of social responsibility and solidarity which requires a personal and human commitment. What a rewarding path…

Throughout the course and on a proposal from ESILV’s partner companies, the students develop in small groups some projects on a concrete issue in the field of computer science and digital sciences, of financial engineering, of computational mechanics, of modelling and new energies.

The projects made by students in 1st and 2nd year (PIX), in 3rd year (PING) and in 4th and 5th year (P2i-orienté company and research) enable them to put into practice concepts studied in classes. Coached by students of upper years, the project requires skills and abilities of the future engineer: the understanding of special features of the project and compliance with its objectives, project management, management of technical fields, social skill.

Our international programmes are designed for International, English speaking students wishing to follow courses taught entirely in English for one year or longer. The integration of international students into our master’s degree programmes taught in French is also possible with a B2 level of French.

We offer personalized support to students during the admissions process (airport pickup, welcome week, visits to Paris, support in finding accommodation, advice on opening a bank account, help with doctor/medical procedures, language courses, etc.)

Living in France, having contacts with French students and having French courses will allow you to discover French civilization, culture and language, and will allow you to become a genuine Leonard de Vinci student !

In the center of the economy activities, its a great place to be a student. The PULV is a good buisness school. you can also find some major of renowned universities like Dauphine or Paris X. I did my master Of "humanités & management" and my master II "Marketing Operationel International", the both are from Paris X!

Life at ESILV is really amazing! There's a place for everyone: whether you're into sports or music, or if you prefer video games, or if you're interested in cooking, you'll find a club that suits you, and if you don't you're more than welcome to create one yourself! And oh! Did I mention that its Finance major is one of the best in France? Anyway there are many reasons to love this school! And if you doubt it, come and see for yourself!

Great place to be for every student, international students as local. Very close to the Eiffel Tower, the campus is very nice and the atmosphere is great.
