This page provides full details of the private school fees you can expect to pay at St George's School for the current academic year. Whether you're considering day schooling or boarding options, the detailed tables give the different costs for each stage of education, as well as the differences between day schooling, nursery fees, flexi-boarding and full-time residential boarding.
A Registration Fee (non-refundable) must accompany the Application Form of £90 (£30 Nursery). Fees and additional costs are reviewed annually in June and will be subject to an increase each academic session.

Tuition fees are inclusive of textbooks, stationery, Junior School day trips and personal accident premiums. Examination fees charged by SQA, GCSE, AS and A Level exam boards are charged as an extra cost separately.
A deposit of £300 should be paid as a final entry fee when the offer of a place is confirmed. Deposits will be offset against the pupil's account for the final term.
Parents who are not UK nationals and/or who are not domiciled in the UK are required to pay a refundable deposit of £3,000 when a boarding place is accepted. This is reduced to £300 for students staying for one term only.
Due to the complexity surrounding applications for Tier 4 Child Student visas, we require all applications to be made with Newland Chase Education, a firm of immigration specialists. An additional cost will be incurred for this service. Please contact admissions for details.

Extras are kept to a minimum and in most cases, the termly fee is inclusive of all costs. Extras are charged for individual music lessons, after school and holiday club, English as a second language, external examination fees and some activities where an external instructor is hired. Full details of extras can be downloaded below. Most extra-curricular activities are provided free of charge.
Where three or more sisters are pupils at the same time, the third and subsequent sisters will receive a discount of one-third of tuition fees. A discount scheme is also available with brothers at Merchiston. Please note that the third child discount does not apply to Nursery.
Children of members of the Armed Forces are eligible for a 10% discount applicable to tuition fees only.
One term only boarding fees during the autumn term will be billed on a pro rata basis.
