Tuition & Financial Aid

We recognize that a Madeira education is a significant investment in your daughter’s future. While the primary responsibility for financing a student’s education rests with her family, each year Madeira commits more than $3.5 million in need-based financial aid grants and merit-based scholarships to 40% of our student body.

The tuition cost at Madeira is a comprehensive fee that includes most of the expenses associated with school participation, including all meals for both boarding and day students.

Books & Supplies

Books and other academic supplies will range in cost depending on the courses in which a student is enrolled. Students have the choice to purchase new, second-hand or online books. They can also rent and return textbooks using our provider. We also have a library of books for loan in the academic office.

Health Insurance

All students are required to have health insurance. International students have the option to purchase insurance through Madeira.

International Student Medical Insurance: $2,025 for the academic year.

International Student Fees

International students will be assessed an international fee for each year that they are enrolled. This fee applies to all students who do not hold US citizenship or permanent residency. For the current school year this fee is $3,000

Payment Plans

We offer one, two, and ten payment plans. We encourage families to purchase Dewar Tuition Refund Insurance.
