Tuition & Affordability

A Forest Ridge education is an investment in your daughter's future.

We recognize that an independent school education is a significant financial commitment, and Forest Ridge is dedicated to creating access for admitted students from a wide range of financial circumstances. If paying full tuition is unrealistic for your family, we encourage you to apply for Financial Aid. Last year, Forest Ridge awarded over $1.5 million in financial aid to 40% of our families.

Tuition for the current school year is $36,500, and Financial Aid packages range from $1,000 to $33,000.

Current Year Tuition

Day Students Boarding Students
Full Tuition: $36,500 5-Day Program: $57,900
  7-Day Program: $66,900

Note: Tuition is set by the Board of Trustees. Included in the cost of tuition are books, before- and after-school care, sports and drama expenses. Not included is a yearly technology fee of $500, which provides students with a required laptop to use during the academic year and on-campus technology help desk support. We welcome a conversation to find a tuition contribution that is right for your family.

How Financial Aid Works

There are a wide range of families who qualify for Financial Aid. In calculating each family's tuition contribution, we consider many factors.

Like many independent schools, we utilize the online SSS® Parents' Financial Statement (PFS) application to help determine the amount of financial aid needed. Based on the information your family enters in the PFS application, Forest Ridge will calculate a tuition amount your family will be charged for the school year.
