Student Fundraising

The cost of educating each Carmel student this year will be $13,875.00 while the tuition and registration fee charged is $12,725.00. Each student is, in effect, receiving $1,150.00 in financial assistance. Rather than charge the full cost of educating the student, Carmel asks that students participate in two fundraisers each year, the Street Scenes Ad Drive and Walkathon. The remainder of the difference between the cost of educating each student and the amount paid in tuition is made up of contributions from alumni and families to the Carmel Catholic Fund and auxiliary services the school operates during the year.

Because everyone benefits from the money raised in the fundraisers, everyone is expected to participate. Both the Ad Drive and Walkathon are mandatory fundraisers. Students who do not fulfill their quotas of $150.00 for the Ad Drive and $75.00 for the Walkathon will be billed on their tuition account. The fund raising quota amounts listed are for the current and next school year.

Financial Aid

At Carmel Catholic, our call to provide exemplary academic programming and expansive extracurricular activities is matched by our commitment to ensuring that this educational experience is accessible to those who seek it.

The financial aid application process provides families with a comprehensive assessment to identify demonstrated financial need beyond household income level. We understand that family budgets are complex, which is why every family who submits a financial aid application receives a thorough review.

We award $2 million in financial aid each year. One in four Carmel Catholic students receives financial aid. The average annual tuition discount per student is $5,763.

Family household income levels* and the number of students receiving financial aid:

  • $0–$49,000: 78
  • $50,000–$79,999: 66
  • $80,000–$119,999: 64
  • Greater than $120,000: 46

*Family household income level is not the only consideration when determining financial aid awards.
